Balanced Body Mat 1 Pilates Instructor Training is an introductory course designed for those seeking to become qualified Pilates instructors. This comprehensive program covers the fundamental principles of Pilates, essential mat exercises, and effective teaching techniques to ensure participants gain a strong foundation in both practice and instruction. Through a blend of theory and hands-on training, students develop the skills required to confidently lead group classes and individual sessions, setting the groundwork for further progression in Pilates education.

Please note: Movement Principles and Mat Pilates experience are essential prior to participation and for progression to the Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Training (including modules in Reformer, Trapeze Table, Wunda Chair, Barrells, Apparatus). Ask about the recognition of prior learning pathways!

Balanced Body Mat Pilates Instructor Training – Module 2

Balanced Body Mat 2 Instructor Training builds on the skills acquired in Mat 1, focusing on advanced Pilates mat repertoire and deeper teaching strategies. This course integrates Pilates history, foundational principles, anatomy, and movement science to provide a comprehensive approach to teaching. Participants will learn to incorporate more challenging variations, address diverse client needs, and refine their cueing and correction techniques. This training enhances your ability to deliver dynamic and effective mat classes, preparing you for greater responsibilities and further progression within the Pilates field.

Balanced Body Mat Pilates Instructor Training – Module 3

Balanced Body Mat 3 Pilates Instructor Training is an advanced course designed for experienced Pilates instructors seeking to further expand their expertise. This training explores complex mat sequences, advanced movement patterns, and specialized teaching techniques to challenge both instructors and their clients. Participants will deepen their understanding of functional anatomy, refine their ability to modify exercises for varied populations, and master progressive cueing strategies. The course also integrates the use of small apparatus—including props such as the Pilates ring, resistance bands, and balls—to enhance mat workouts, increase versatility, and address specific movement objectives. Successful completion of Mat 3 enables instructors to deliver highly effective, innovative mat classes and positions them for leadership roles within the Pilates community.

Balanced Body Reformer Pilates Instructor Training – Module 1

Join us to start or continue your professional journey as an Instructor. Reformer 1 is an introductory Instructor training course where you will learn to safely use the Pilates Reformer for a wide variety of supine, seated and standing exercises for the beginning to intermediate student.
